Event Programming

With tours, presentations, panels, resource fairs, and more happening across campus, you can explore everything Illinois offers entirely on your own schedule. Event option examples include:


If you plan to drive, I-72, I-74, and I-57 all lead directly to Champaign-Urbana. You can also arrive by train or bus at the Illinois Terminal , which is two miles away from campus, or you can fly to Champaign's Willard Airport , which is five miles away from campus.

Campus parking is free on weekends. Main lots for IlliniFest include B-4 and E-14. Buses will be available to take you to the Illini Union from both of these locations beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Deck B-4 (377 North Goodwin Avenue, Urbana, IL 61801) is located on the corner of University and Goodwin avenues in Urbana. You can enter it from Goodwin Avenue. Lot E-14 (1799 South First Street, Champaign, IL 61820) is located west of the State Farm Center, between First Street, Kirby Avenue, Oak Street, and St. Mary's Road in Champaign.

While events will be happening across all of campus, the Illini Union will act as our main hub for the day. The Union is located at 1401 West Green Street in Urbana. No check-in is necessary, but information tables will be available throughout the Union to assist you with any needs during our time together.

Campus Bus Route

A special campus bus route has been created especially for IlliniFest! Buses will be available to take you around key locations on campus all day long. MTD will also be available for transportation around the larger Champaign-Urbana area.
