Explore all of our in-person visit options by date! This calendar includes both campus visits and academic meetings. In most cases, a variety of visit programs are offered each day. If you're interested in attending multiple programs, make sure to sign up for each one separately.
Tour campus and learn about everything UIUC has to offer you!
Held most weekdays and select Saturdays, these events are around two-and-a-half hours in length. You'll begin your day with a 30-minute presentation all about life on campus, followed by a 20-minute Q&A session with current students. A student will then lead you on an hour-and-a-half walking tour through the heart of campus. Note that these events are an immersive view into the UIUC experience; if you're looking for insight on our admissions process, we encourage you to sign up for a virtual application workshop or explore our website.
Register for a Prospective First-Year UIUC Experience and Campus Tour
These are larger, day-long open houses held each fall and spring. In addition to a presentation on the UIUC student experience and a student Q&A session, they also include presentations by Housing and Financial Aid, campus tours, college sessions, and a variety of optional activities. Please note that the availability of our colleges varies by event; if you're interested in meeting with a specific academic community, review the list of those attending when you sign up.
Prospective Orange & Blue Days will be available mid-August.
Admitted first-year events will be available in late January.

You'll begin your day with a 45-minute presentation on our transfer admissions process and life at UIUC, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session with current students. A student will then lead you on an hour-and-a-half walking tour through the heart of campus.

The Admissions campus tour includes a housing tour of our Illinois Street Residence (ISR) Halls. Additional housing tours are offered from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. every weekday (excluding holidays and university breaks). Walk-in tours offered through University Housing include Nugent Hall or a more in-depth look at Illinois Street Residence (ISR) Halls. You can also pre-arrange a Private Certified Housing tour directly with the facility of your choice.
