Academic Meetings, Info Sessions, & Tours
Our academic communities also offer a variety of visit options. If your visit doesn't already include time with them, explore your options and sign up! If you have questions regarding an academic visit you've signed up for, make sure to reach out directly to that academic community prior to your visit.
Housing Tours
The Admissions campus tour includes a housing tour of our Illinois Street Residence (ISR) Halls. Additional housing tours are offered from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. every weekday (excluding holidays and university breaks). You can also pre-arrange a Private Certified Housing tour directly with the facility of your choice.
Directions & Parking
If you plan to drive, I-72, I-74, and I-57 all lead directly to Champaign-Urbana. You can also arrive by train or bus at the Illinois Terminal , which is two miles away from campus, or you can fly to Champaign's Willard Airport , which is five miles away from campus. Please note that no free parking is available on weekdays. Unless specified otherwise, you must park at a meter and pay electronically to avoid receiving a ticket. To find parking near your program, view our campus map. We also recommend downloading the MobileMeter app before your visit.

Where to Stay
Illini Union Hotel
The Illini Union Hotel sits in the heart of campus, offering beautiful Quad views, free parking, and access to a Starbucks, convenience store, and several restaurants on-site. The Illini Union hosts many university events, and all proceeds support student programming. To reserve a room, visit their website or call 217-333-1241.
