Block Schedules – Application Help
The following information is designed to assist you in filling out the application if your school follows a block schedule.
Common Scenarios
- Enter each of your courses based on the credit earned rather than the actual length of time for each course.
- If the course is listed as .5 credit, enter the term as first or second semester.
- If the course is listed as 1 credit and only 1 grade is listed on your transcript, enter the term as all year. If 2 different grades are listed for a 1-credit course, list both grades as a semester each.
- If a course is less than .5 credit, enter it as trimester (.33) or quarter (.25).
