Prospective
These 45-minute virtual workshops are for high school students who are interested in Illinois and haven't been admitted yet. A counselor will walk you through our admissions process and answer any questions you have about applying!
These hour-long virtual info sessions are specifically for international high school students who are interested in Illinois and haven't been admitted yet. A counselor will walk you through our international admissions process, talk about everything Illinois can offer you, and answer any questions you have.
If you have more general questions and are more interested in a broad overview of the transfer process and requirements, our Transfer Success Workshops are the best place to begin. You'll learn how to utilize transfer resources such as Transferology and the Transfer Handbook, how to plan your path to Illinois, and how to apply for admission. These workshops support students at any stage of the transfer process.
How to Prepare—Start planning your transfer to Illinois! Join us to learn how to use the Transfer Handbook, understand GPA calculations, and plan the courses you'll need for your intended major. Intended for students planning to apply for Spring 2027 or later transfer.
Understanding Transferology—Learn how your courses transfer! Learn how to use Transferology, a free tool that shows how your completed or planned coursework will transfer to Illinois. We'll walk through finding course equivalents for admission and general education requirements, plus tips for making the most of your time before you transfer

How to Apply—Get ready to apply to Illinois! Learn how to apply as a transfer student. We will discuss major selection, required materials, application timelines, and walk through the application. We'll share tips to make your application as strong as possible! Intended for students planning to apply for Fall 2026 admission
Meet one-on-one with a member of our Transfer Admissions Team for a pre-admission advising session. These appointments are intended for in-depth questions about transfer requirements, course and schedule planning, and preparing to apply in the near future. Sessions last approximately 15 minutes and can be held via phone or Zoom.

The event will be held entirely in Spanish. A counselor will walk students and their families through our admissions process, providing valuable insights, key dates, and available resources that will ensure students and parents are well-equipped to navigate the admissions journey.
