Admission Appeal Form
If you have been denied, you can use our online form to appeal your application decision. You will only be allowed to fill in and submit an appeal if you have been denied admission or have not been admitted to your first choice major for the current application cycle.
Every application has gone through an extensive review and a variety of information is considered, including academics, extra-curricular involvement, and information provided in essays. Therefore, request for reconsideration should only be submitted if new and compelling information that is relevant to the admissions criteria not on the original application is available. Requests must be made by the applicant.
Deadlines for Reconsideration: If you have any questions, contact Admissions at 217-333-0302 or email@example.com. June 1 for transfers for the Fall semester; December 20 for transfers for the Spring semester. No freshman decisions will be made prior to March 1. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks for decisions. Decisions will be posted online.
The online form allows you to:
- Submit an essay which includes new and compelling information that was not on your original application for admission.
- Submit a different major choice, if you wish to be considered for a different major.
