Reputation, Retention, and Graduation Rates
The profile of each university, which includes the school's reputation, retention, and graduate rates, should be taken into consideration.
Though the outcomes of previous graduating classes do not necessarily determine your future at a given university, it can give you an idea of the success levels of alumni and how other institutions feel about the University.
A university or college reputation may help you land your first internship or job. You'll still have to work hard to do well academically, but a reputable name can only help your chances.
