Hi, I'm a new admitted student, and I have a question about the immunization form. Can I have injections after coming to the University of Illinois or am I required to have the injections prior to my arrival?
Thanks.
Tung Do,
If you have not received all needed immunizations prior to arriving, you can receive any or all of the required immunizations after arrival at McKinley Health Center on for a charge. More information on health requirements can be found here: http://www.mckinley.illinois.edu/Forms/forms.htm
Hi, thanks for your prompt reply.
So that means I will be able to attend the first semester at the University of Illinois without any immunizations prior to my arrival, and I can do the immunizations during my first semester?
You are correct. As it says on the following website: http://www.mckinley.illinois.edu/general/requirements.htm
"You can receive any or all of the required immunizations at McKinley for a charge. It is important to meet these requirements. If you do not do this prior to or during the first semester in which you are enrolled, your registration for the following semester will be blocked; you will also be dropped from any classes for which you may already have registered."
