Spring 2010 Admitted Checklist
Accept / Decline
Accept or decline your offer of admission online.
The online acceptance form will be unavailable at the following times due to routine maintenance:
You must complete the following steps after accepting the offer of admission.
IDs and Computing
You will frequently use your NetID to access resources on campus. To claim and set your NetID and NetID password, you need your University Identification Number (UIN) located on the back of your Notice of Admission letter. Read more on IDs and Computing.
Housing
After accepting your offer of admission, complete your University Residence Hall contract online with your housing advance payment, or apply online with a Private Certified Housing facility. Transfer students also have the option of choosing off-campus housing. Read more on Housing.
Registration
Registration will occur on Friday, January 15, 2010. An e-mail will be sent with additional information.
Financial Aid
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have the FAFSA information sent to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, if you have not done so already. Read more on Financial Aid.
College Registration Homework and Tutorials
Complete your college registration homework and tutorial. NOTE: The registration homework and tutorials will be available online starting December 1, 2009. These MUST be completed at least one week before you attend your registration program.
Placement
If you are required to take placement exams, they MUST be completed at least one week before you attend your registration program. Read more on Placement.
Final Transcripts
Send final transcripts to the Office of Admissions as soon as final grades are posted.
Health
Complete and submit the required McKinley Health Center Immunization and Medical History Forms. NOTE: Domestic students must submit the forms by December 1, 2009. International students must bring completed forms to campus.
Disability Related Resources / Accommodations
Students with disabilities must contact DRES to request and obtain disability-related assistance at least six weeks prior to the first day of classes in order to allow adequate time to make the necessary accommodation arrangements. Read more on Disability Related Resources/Accommodations.
